A stopmotion piece that was created by using a scanner. As the scanner light beam scans I moved cut-out circles in varied ways to produce an emotive, abstract piece based on this poem about war. The resulted images produced varied subtle, unexpected imagery that were distorted versions of its original shape. 

The visual process and audio was an integral part to the piece. The layering and repetitive nature of the images and voices mimic each other to reference the perturbed nature and perspectives of wars both present and past.
